Paul was always very calm and made me believe in myself. He provided me with a step-by-step book and audio files which helped me learn outside of my lessons. Paul was great with communicating affectively and was good at explaining things in detail. I enjoyed every single lesson with him!
Firstly, I would like to say that having had a few driving instructors before, that Paul was the best instructor; that I could ever of asked for. From day 1 he was reassuring and made me believe in myself. He supplied me with extra resources such as the step-by-step book and audio files which really helped me learn at home between lessons. He taught me how to drive confidently and safely. But also he taught me so many life skills that has really helped. I would highly recommend Paul Gronow to anyone!

Paul is a remarkable driving instructor, he is patient, calm and helped me build so much confidence in my driving. He is very good at adapting his teaching style to suit what works for the pupil and provides his own book, audio files and videos which helped me to prepare for each topic in between lessons. Before my driving test my instructor unfortunately caught COVID-19 and I was left feeling hopeless and nervous, I had learned in a completely different car and wasn’t feeling ready to pass my test. Out of desperation my mum called Paul and he kindly took me on and dedicated his time to calm my nerves and get me test ready. He helped to reassure me and fine tune my knowledge and decision making. In addition to giving me as many lessons as I needed to feel ready he also provided me with his Let’s Go Book and 40 audio lessons which were extremely beneficial. I am extremely thankful to Paul, he stepped in to help when he didn’t need to and dedicated his time to help me, without Paul I don’t think I would have been test ready and I can’t thank him enough. Paul set my mind at ease and worked with me to teach me everything I needed to know. I will forever be grateful for Paul and all he has done for me. Thank you for everything Paul!
Paul is an amazing instructor. I had failed my test a few times using different instructors and was at my breaking point; I was about to give up when I got in contact with Paul. I explained my situation and he was amazing, I only had a few lessons with him and 'no word of a lie', the first driving test I did, I passed; he really is amazing. And all of his little tools he uses and his book no other driving instructor has ever used a book with me and gave me homework LOL. He really took the time to explain everything, I highly recommend him; couldn't have passed my test without him. He truly is amazing couldn't of asked for a better instructor, I really wished I'd met him sooner he got me through my test he was so patient and funny at times to which always helped. Anyone that comes to me, I'll always recommend Paul before anyone else
I want to say a huge thanks to Paul. He was very patient with me when I was learning and he is very good at finding ways to explain things to help me understand. He works very hard and makes sure to push you to your full potential when driving and is very helpful when you do make a mistake. Firstly, I’d like to start with a massive thank you to Paul. He taught me many lifelong lessons to keep safe. I started off with my first lesson, not being that confident and not knowing how to drive much. By the end of that very lesson I drove home and with that, he changed my life forever. Within a few months I was able to pass first time. The impact it had on my life as a swimmer who lives in the middle of nowhere and used to have to rely on my parents to drive me around everywhere was huge. Paul went above and beyond. Giving me a short step by step book, audio files and videos so that I could proceed faster and have the knowledge to pass first time. Each and every lesson was important. Worth it, every penny! Paul is a really brilliant driving instructor. He is very patient and taught me like I was a friend. When I made a mistake he calmly helped me to find and learn a solution and try again. He helped me to calm my nerves and I felt confident heading into my test. His book, audio files and videos - which are written specifically for the roads in Barry test centre - helped me so much to learn quickly and easily, both in and out of the car. Firstly, Paul is an excellent driving instructor. He’s very patient and really understood what I needed to focus on to improve my driving and get me test standard. Thanks to Paul, I always felt comfortable on the road. He really takes pride in his work and his learners' development. Throughout my time learning to drive, I used his Let’s Go Book and online audio lessons and they really are fantastic. Before my lesson would even begin, I had advanced knowledge of what I was going to be learning and focusing on. It felt unique to have the book and audio lessons and gave me confidence. With that knowledge learned before the lesson, I was able to spend more time actively driving and performing the topic’s content. This saved me a lot of time and money. I highly recommend Paul as a driving instructor. I had been driving for 16 years in the states and had to basically start over for getting a U.K licence. While I already knew how to “drive”, there’s no way I would have passed the practical test without some lessons with Paul pointing out my bad habits. His book and audio lessons were so valuable and very reader/listener friendly. Paul also was extremely flexible in working around my busy schedule and even gave me a last minute prep lesson before my cancellation test came up. I’m extremely grateful for his help.

Paul is an excellent driving instructor and is patient in leading you to the very best of your ability, he gives you his honest opinion in a positive way so you are able to improve in your stakes in a faster way. Despite the challenge of Covid and missing lessons Paul went above and beyond in prioritising me by giving me extra lessons and even giving me lessons in his days off in preparation for my test. Being in Uni, I wasn't always able to have the same days off from week to week to allow me to have a regular time slot with Paul, but this was not an issue - we were always able to work around this.
